your easy going, mom-next-door wilmington nc family photographer always ready to capture the fun!
My Dad was always the one behind the lens, setting up the camera on a tripod then racing to get in the group family photo before the timer went off. My favorite images were never the perfect ones with everyone smiling at the camera. Give me the outtakes. All day, every day. The ones where someone was knocked into, or a funny joke was told that made everyone laugh just before the shutter clicked.
Those are the images that have stayed with me most because they hold what it felt like to be there. They bring me back to the laughter, the energy, and the connection shared in that moment. That’s what I want to capture for your Wilmington family photos too: the in-between moments that feel honest, alive, and deeply meaningful. No tripod needed.
